Medal Play Championship

The 36-hole Medal Play Championship,
originally scheduled for June 12-13,
has been rescheduled to
Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1.
In addition to crowning the Club’s medal play champion
for 2010, this event also will serve as the qualifier for the Championship Flight in the men’s Club Championship, the Club’s traditional match-play event which begins August 7.
The low eight scorers in the Medal Play Championship will comprise the Championship Flight and vie to become
the overall Club Champion.
Players who do not qualify may still sign up to play in the
Club Championship in their respective flights, according to their handicap index. Each flight will have eight players,
with deadline dates to play the matches. The winner
of each flight will be that flight’s champion.
These tournaments are intended to be the two most
prestigious events of the year for individual competitive play, one being medal play and the other match play. Please contact the Golf Shop with any questions and to sign up.

9:00 am tee-times begin.
F O R M A T
36-hole medal play.
Players will play scratch within their flights.
The championship flight (0-5)
will play from the black tees,
the first flight (6-12)
will play the blue tees, and all other
play will be from the copper tees (13+).
Handicap will only be used to determine the flights.
All players will have the option to move
up a flight if they desire.
E N T R Y F E E
$42.00 per person (member charge) plus cart or trail fee.
Optional $10.00 cash individual gross skins pot each day (birdies or better by flight).
